Get to know Mayfield CALP
Mayfield Community Adult Learning Project C.A.L.P. was established in 1990 as a sub programme of the Mayfield CDP CLG. CALP as a voluntary organisation responds to identified needs, motivates and supports adults to participate in learning programmes as a means of developing themselves and their community in an open friendly environment Mayfield CALP has 3 main aims:

1. To encourage and assist adults to take up opportunities for further lifelong learning.
2. To enable people to become actively involved in their own learning and self-development, this will impact positively on family and community life.
3. To provide a long-term strategy for adult learning needs in the Mayfield community.
The project is funded by Cork Education and Training Board.
